The new school year is underway, and students and staff members are testing positive for COVID-19.
The Ohio Department of Health records new and cumulative COVID-19 cases that are reported to schools by parents, guardians and staff members for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Individual schools are required to report COVID-19 cases to their local health department which then reports the cases to the state health department.

Cases involve full- and part-time students and staff members — including teachers, administrators, support staff and coaches.
The Ohio Department of Health updates its list every Thursday. The cases are reported by cumulative cases for the year and new infections in the most recent week, which is defined as the previous Monday through Sunday.
Listed here are all public school districts in Franklin County and its six contiguous counties (Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Madison, Pickaway and Union):
