Thursday, January 13, 2022 (HOL) – The Federal Electoral Commission (FEC) has dismissed as false a letter circulated on the internet claiming that the chairman of the Galmudug Electoral Commission has been fired and a new one has been elected.
Federal election commission spokesman Ambassador Safina said they would take action against anyone behind the letter.
“The Galmudug Seit Committee can cast and vote, but only if they get the approval of the Federal Electoral Commission. First, they file a motion to dismiss. The Federal Electoral Commission is in attendance, ”the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the Federal Electoral Commission (FEIT) has appointed a committee to organize the election of its chairman, according to a statement released by state media.
This letter was not published on the official website of the Federal Electoral Commission.
Members of the Electoral Commission recently fired the chairman of the Electoral Commission, Mohamed Hassan Irro, although he denied this.
