The Airbus 320 will be the 12th aircraft owned by Freedom Airline, one of East Africa’s largest private airlines.
The Airbus 320 will fly international flights to Gulf countries and beyond. and an opportunity for people in East Africa, including Somalia.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a number of aviation companies and Kenyan government officials.
Kenya’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Christopher Obure cut the ribbon and praised Freedom Airline’s progress.
Freedom Airlines was established in 2008 by private individuals and has become one of the largest airlines in Somalia.
