Friday, March 18, 2022 (HOL) – The election of six seats in the 11th House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia is set to take place in Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland today. .

Up to 12 candidates have registered to run for the six seats that will be the last seats held by the Puntland Electoral Commission today.
The registered candidates who will run today are: Abdirizak Hassan Ahmed, Ali Mohamed Ahmed, Abdilatif Muse Nur (Sanyare) Governor of Mudug and Lul Abshir Diriye, Sadia Yasin Haji (Sadiya Salad) and Sadiyo Abdullahi Salad, Osman Ali Yusuf (Ali Hosh) and Abdirahman Isse Mohamed, Abdullahi Mohamed Jama (Jigato) and Mohamed Abdihamid Warsame, Mohamed Abdullahi Keyse and Abdullahi Abdi Jama.
The Puntland Electoral Commission will be the fifth to finalize the election of the two Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, leaving the Jubbaland and Hirshabelle administrations.
