One person is dead following a shooting Tuesday night on Columbus’ South Side near Merion Village.
Columbus police responded about 10:45 p.m. to a report of a shooting on the 1000 block of Parsons Avenue. The officers found an adult suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced the unidentified shooting victim dead at 10:51 p.m.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting and are withholding the name of the person who died so they can notify next of kin.
