Saudi Arabia’s Board of Grievances has won the Smart Government Services Excellence Award given annually by the Dubai-based Middle East Excellence Award Institute.
The Saudi institution won the award in recognition of its efforts for a rapid and smooth digital transformation of its operations.
The excellence award aims at encouraging smart institutional transformation and initiatives. Through these awards, the Dubai-based institute aims to recognize and celebrate regional and global titans of industry, corporations and government institutions.
It seeks to encourage regional governments to expedite digital transformation and offer smart solutions to their people according to the best international management practices. Saudi Arabia has taken several measures for the digital transformation of its judicial services.
The Board of Grievances uses an electronic system, which allows for the electronic registration, transfer and receipt of objections by the Administrative Appeal Courts to and from the Supreme Administrative Court.
