D’oh! “Simpsons” fans can rejoice.
A traveling pop-up bar inspired by the popular animated TV show will make its first Ohio appearance in 2024.
Moe’s Springfield Pop Up Bar is coming to Akron Jan. 19-28. The pop-up bar is currently serving up beers and “Simpsons”-inspired drinks and food to fans in Utica, New York.
The traveling bar launched in 2020 and has visited Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts.
Where will Moe’s Pop Up Bar be located in Ohio?
JMC Pop Ups, which produces the traveling bar, sets up shop in existing bar locations, spokesperson Samantha Shutter said. The company brings in props to make the bar look like Moe’s Tavern from the show.
The hosting bar creates a “Simpsons”-themed menu. There is no special food or drink menu set yet for the Akron pop-up, according to the Moe’s Pop Up Bar website.
In Akron, Moe’s Pop Up will temporarily take over space inside of the Missing Falls Brewery, located at 540 South Main St.
